Looking for a quick and reliable way to synchronize and convert MS Access and MySQL databases, try DBSync for Access & MySQL. This bi-directional database migration software can be customized to operate with either the entire database or with select tables, fields, and foreign keys. All you need to do to complete the migration is configure a few options through the Wizard interface or in command line mode.
This software allows you to conveniently move a database from MS Access to MS Access, MS Access to MySQL, MySQL to MS Access, and MySQL to MySQL. The move is carried out at a great speed as the software establishes a direct connection between the destination and source databases. This makes the data transfer much safer and more accurate than that done by most of the other universal synchronizers that use ADO or ODBC for the transfer. As this software supports every MySQL server and MS Access data type, including BLOBS and OLE Object packages, there arises no data corruption error. With DBSync for Access & MySQL, the data conversion is very safe and the integrity of the data is maintained. Further, this software allows you to keep all your distributed databases in agreement by allowing you to drop, insert, and update database records. These functions can easily be synchronized between the source and the destination databases to ensure that the two are in perfect sync with each other and any change made in the source is reflected in the destination database.
Moreover, the GUI of this software is very user friendly and the conversion process is divided into smaller and more manageable parts so that even a new user can easily get the hang of the software and start making the optimal use of the DBSync for Access & MySQL right from the first day. However, the only drawback of this software is that it does not convert the hidden (system) tables. All in all, the DBSync for Access & MySQL migration software definitely merits a rating of 3 on a scale of 5.
